The other day, as I was perusing the little bookshelves in our house, I came across a book on popular world folktales. I’ve always had an interest in folklore, particularly myths and legends of hauntings and the macabre, but only recently have I been considering actually pursuing it as a study in university. I think all humans have at least a little bit of interest in old tales and things still mysterious in the world.
The book I found is called “The World’s Great Folktales: A Collection of 172 of the Best Stories from World Folklore”. It is arranged and edited by James R. Foster, and you can find it here.
