EXCERPT
Westport was a fascinating place. She had seen the stately Westport House as they passed by, in the distance. The tree-lined boulevard called The Mall was so genteel and posh, she felt guilty walking down the road. But Seán assured her anyone could walk the shops, and so she strolled, arm in arm with her husband, perusing the stalls of the weekly market.
Esme was so glad Aisling was willing to watch over the animals while they gallivanted across the countryside. She was on a holiday from workaday life. So many things were on offer at the stalls, Choices overloaded her. Colors and odors assaulted her, as well as the cries of the stall attendants.
