I’m a slacker.
Last year, when my blog was Brand Spanking New, I was very good about blogging every day from Dragoncon. This year, I did not – I was too busy having fun! Sorry about that.
Shame. Shame. Shame.
Now, however, you get all the photos in one spot!
I had a grand time at Dragoncon. It’s my annual pilgrimage to Nerdigras, a family reunion of 80,000 geeks in downtown Atlanta. I didn’t get as much done as I wanted. I was manning my art show booth all day, so I never got to the vendor rooms, the gaming room, or the Walk of Fame. I only attended one panel (Todd McCaffrey and Jim Butcher – hilarious!) and went to several parties and concerts at night. I cosplayed, though not as much as I’d hoped.
But I did LOTS of people and costume watching… here is the proof! I apologize for the grainy quality of some of these, as my iPhone isn’t as good as my Real Camera. But I didn’t want to risk my Real Camera getting alcohol on it (it’s happened at Dragoncon – there was a Nocello incident that resulted in me getting a new camera).
I write historical fantasy novels, mostly set in Ireland, and a contemporary romance based on my parents’ 30-year search for true love. Don’t miss information on Celtic myth and history, as well as practical travel planning tips, and hidden places, in my travel books.
