More book cover critiques!

I really like this cover – but there are still a few things I don’t like about it. While I adore the interactivity of the image with the title, the font on the title seems too blurry compared to the elements. The roses are obviously copied and pasted, then turned. The shadows are intermittent. And the snake imagery is all the rage lately – too much? That being said, the contrast is strong, the font a good choice, and the author name, while it could stand out a bit more, is strong. I had to read it twice to see it was ‘Hale’ rather than ‘Hall’.
