The illustration in this is gorgeous and intruiging, and fits the title… but so DARK! I can barely read it at full size, and it just disappears in thumbnail size. Having a quote on the cover by Naomi Novik is great… but I want to see the cover, too! Contrast, contrast, contrast.
That issue aside, the title and author font works lovely, the metallic sheen speaks to the genre and the title itself.
