Such a lush cover! The contrast is outstanding, the color scheme simple yet stunning. That carving is complex without being overpowering. And having a quote by Sarah J. Maas on your cover isn’t a bad thing. I’m not a huge fan of the vertical ‘The’, but hey, it does work. Having the dark font over the light portion and the light font over the dark portion of the tile background works great.
The font itself reminds me of Roman carvings, which informs ’emperor’ very well, despite this being a magical fantasy epic (informed by the dragons!)
