So, Romance covers are their own little world. They can range from the truly stunning to the truly cringe-y. For one to actually catch my eye, though, is unusual because it’s not a genre I normally read. This one does, for a few reasons. One, it’s not cluttered, the fading of the image behind the title and author name helps that a lot. Two, the figure is not wearing the typical ‘this is period but not the right period’ gown. Three, the lighting and the background is well-stitched to the image. Four, the color scheme is a lot less in-your-face than the brilliant purples, blues, reds, and pinks of most romance covers. I like the change.

I agree with your comments.
